Our Engineering Department is active in all phases of the production process. Our proactive involvement at an early stage of the product design phase enables optimum product designs to be achieved to ensure an efficient injection moulding process.
In order to optimize the productivity of each mold produced, during the mold design stage, an optimal structure design of mold will be determined by the team leaders of our designing, engineering, and production team in numbers of discussions. This proposed design would only be executed upon approval of the mold shop manager. Aided by a series of computer software, mold designers are able to finish a full set of mold structure drawings precisely and rapidly.
The design engineers at HENGYU have over 10 years of experience not only designing molds but building them as well. This background gives our in-house team the ability to find creative solutions to even the most challenging design manufacturing problems.
Our experienced designers are equipped with state-of-the-art software including Solid Works. They assess the part design and make modifications and recommendations based on key product requirements including product usage and function. They look for answers to questions such as:
1 How will the part be used? What is its application? Is it a standalone product or a component of a larger assembly?
2 What are the dimensional and tensile requirements?
3 Does the part need to withstand elements, pressure, chemicals?
4 Does this part meet our requirements for volume and size?
Taking all of these manufacturing factors into account is a challenging task and one that requires a strong knowledge base, not only of mold design but the injection molding process as well.
